David Quintanar is an award-winning cartoonist born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He has created thousands
of cartoons which have been published in
magazines including The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Better Homes
and Gardens, Woman's World, Highlights for Children, Phi Delta Kappan, Medical Economics
and the Saturday Evening Post. His cartoons have also appeared in text books

including "Introduction to Teaching" and "Microcomputer Applications."

David's work has been recognized by Highlights for Children with the "Cartoon of the Year" award.

He is presently writing and illustrating children's picture books.

David graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at El Paso. He holds
a Bachelors of Education.
